Judgment Day is a central belief in many Christian traditions. The Church also uses mass media to spread its message to a broader audience. The Pasugo: God’s Message, the monthly official magazine of the Church, carries religious articles and Church news. DZEM (954 kHz) broadcasts programs on Bible teachings, aired by roughly 60 radio stations across the Philippines and several more in the US and Australia. GEM TV-49, along with major cable stations in the Philippines and some US Direct TV channels (ch 2068), telecasts the Church’s religious programs on biblical teachings.
The Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ) is a Christian religion whose primary purpose is to worship the Almighty God based on His teachings as taught by the Lord Jesus Christ and as recorded in the Bible. Scholars and journalists have noted the Church’s rapid global growth and its emphasis on scriptural authority. The Church of Christ is open to anyone who heeds the call of God and embraces its faith, regardless of nationality, cultural background, social standing, economic status, or educational attainment.
